Baldur's Gate 3 BG3 Cloak of the Weave

Baldur’s Gate 3 Cloak of the Weave: How to Get the Cloak

The Baldur’s Gate 3 Cloak of the Weave is a very rare item to find. Some players have gotten the robes and the hood for the Weave set, but they are looking for this cloak to complete the collection. Even after searching the entirety of the House of Hope as well as the Devil’s Fee store in the Lower City, they have yet to locate where the item is. Fortunately, getting this special cloak, which is fantastic for all spellcasters despite not being a legendary item, actually isn’t too hard. Here’s where to find the Cloak of the Weave in BG3.

How to get the Baldur’s Gate 3 Cloak of the Weave

The Cloak of the Weave is found as part of wares sold in the Devil’s Fee store, but only after you are able to access the “good stuff” on the menu.

You first need to speak with Helsik, the owner of the Devil’s Fee shop, which is close to the Lower City waypoint in the city of Baldur’s Gate. But in order to access the secret part of his inventory, you need to discover the many infernal items that he has in the back of the store. There are a few ways to do this, but you can pickpocket Helsik for several keys, which will allow to explore the shop more thoroughly.

It’s unclear which infernal items you need to grab to trigger the conversation with Helsik that allows you to see the extra items on the list, but there is a Coin of Mammon and some Infernal Marble that you can pick up in the store. Once that happens, though, speaking with Helsik again will allow you to convince her to show you her full stock. At that point, you can purchase the Cloak of the Weave for about 500 gold.

You can also view the expanded inventory after you finish the House of Hope quest in case you don’t want to find the infernal items. The Cloak of the Weave gives spellcasters a +1 bonus to their Spell Save DC and spell attack rolls. You can also activate its Absorb Elements ability once per Short Rest to mitigate elemental damage.
