Diablo 4 1.0.3 Build Patch Notes June 27 27th

Diablo 4 1.0.3 Build Patch Notes Highlights for June 27, 2023

The much-anticipated Diablo 4 1.0.3 build patch notes have arrived with massive changes. As promised by Blizzard, these June 27 patch notes come with plenty of bug fixes for gameplay, quests, and UI, as well as needed balance adjustments that buff a long list of class skills that have fallen by the wayside. In fact, the patch notes are so extensive that we believe it would be useful to break them down and share the most important highlights for Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 1.0.3 build patch notes for June 27 breakdown

Here is a quick list of most important changes introduced by the 1.0.3 build patch notes:

  • Nightmare Dungeons XP significantly boosted – Testing has revealed that high-tier Nightmare Dungeons now reward about twice as much XP than they have before. XP gained from killing monsters in these dungeons have been enhanced.
  • Helltide Chests and Whispers XP significantly boosted too
  • Nightmare Dungeon Teleport – You can now teleport to a Nightmare Dungeon from the map without having to use your horse.
  • Helltide Bosses Item Drop Rate Increase – Helltide bosses like Kixxarth will now more consistently drop higher quality loot (which hopefully includes super rare uniques)
  • Buffs to Numerous Skills – Many basic attack skills and other abilities that are not used as much in endgame builds have been boosted. The numbers themselves, like 10% attack power turning into 11% attack power, might not look impressive, but this does represent a 10% increase in strength. Overall, druids and barbarians have gotten fairly decent boosts, while the sorcerer didn’t get the survivability buffs many wanted.

From the extensive list of bug fixes in the patch notes, we will note that the glitch with the Untamed Thicket and the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon to reach World Tier 4 have finally been addressed.

Blizzard also promises to look into several long-standing issues since the game’s launch. This includes a lack of mob density and the weakness of minions particularly from the Necromancer class.
