Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Get More Battery

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom How to Get More Battery: Upgrade and Restore Energy

There are a few ways to get more battery in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can upgrade your Energy Cell, use Zonai Charges to refill it instantly or use Zonai Batteries to power devices without tapping into your personal supply. Your battery gauge is one of your biggest limitations in the game, so you’ll want to use whatever tricks you can to make it last longer.

How to make your battery last longer in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

If you want to get more battery in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to do one of three things:

  • Upgrade your energy cell.
  • Use Zonai Charges to refill your battery.
  • Use external batteries.

Upgrade your energy cell

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Crystalized Charge

You can upgrade your battery in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by gathering 100 Crystalized Charges. These can be purchased from Forge Constructs (usually found near old mines in the depths) in exchange for Zonalite.

Once you have the required amount of charges, you can go to the Crystal Refinery on Great Sky Island near Nachoyah Shrine and speak to the construct there to refine the Crystalized Charges into an Energy Well, which will automatically upgrade your Energy Cell.

Use Zonai Charges to refill your battery

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Zonai Charge

Whenever you defeat a Zonai soldier, they’ll drop a Zonai Charge. You can use these from your inventory to instantly recharge your battery. You can even use them to supercharge your Energy Cell, which will give you reserve battery that’ll be used after your main battery is discharged. However, these should only be used when absolutely necessary because they’re also used to get Zonai Devicss out of the dispensers dotted around Hyrule.

Use external batteries

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom External Battery

One of the Zonai Devices available in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a battery. You can attach this to any battery-powered vehicle or device, and it’ll power it for a limited time.

These battteries don’t ask very long individually, but plopping three or four together gives you a decent amount of power.
