Star Wars Jedi Survivor Get Desert Ridge Chest

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: How to Reach the Desert Ridge Chest on Jedha

Figuring out how to get the Desert Ridge chest in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is challenging. The particular crate was one of the last ones I collected because of how tricky it is to reach it. However, it’s easy once you realize that the way to get to the Desert Ridge crate isn’t to climb the cliff.

How to get to the Desert Ridge crate in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Desert Ridge Chest Map

To get to the Desert Ridge chest in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you must get the Upgraded Ascension Cable in Chapter 5.1. Then, you’ll need to use a pair of floating platforms to reach where you’re headed. Once you’ve got that upgrade, follow these instructions:

  • Fast Travel to the Arid Flats Meditation Point.
  • Head toward Wayfinder’s Tomb.
  • Cross the broken bridge that extends from Wayfinder’s Tomb toward Desert Ridge (seen on the map above).
  • Jump onto the flying creature and quickly turn left toward the ledge where the Desert Ridge crate is located.
  • Land on the highest ledge you can.
  • Jump to climb the rest of the way to the chest.

What makes this one of the trickier crates to get to in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is that you likely won’t have the upgrade needed to get to the flying creature when you discover it. Even once you do, the creature can barely make it over, and you’ll need to pull back on the stick as you approach so you keep enough altitude to jump over to the cliff. It might take a few tries, but you’ll eventually get it.
