Left 4 Dead 3 Potentially Leaked via CS:GO 2 Files

CS:GO 2 has been making the rounds for a while now, with the game seemingly releasing soon, but in recently leaked files Left 4 Dead 3 is mentioned, sparking speculation that the zombie franchise could be returning at some point soon, after being dormant for over a decade now.

Left 4 Dead 3 leaks again

A recent leak shows off CS:GO Source 2 executables, and while that’s something we already knew about, what we didn’t know about was that Left 4 Dead 3 was on the table. The leak specifically mentions Left 4 Dead 3, with the exact code stating ‘sTestedNamePrefix=Left4Dead3.’ This may reflect that Left 4 Dead 3 content will be available in CS:GO Source 2, but what the code actually does is currently unclear.

Neither CS:GO Source 2 or Left 4 Dead 3 have been announced by Valve, so it’s worth taking this leak with a grain of salt. Still, it’s a tantalizing possibility for fans of the zombie series, which has been dormant since 2009’s Left 4 Dead 2, a game that still has a huge fanbase to this day.
