Wild Hearts performance issues are plaguing those playing in early access. Unfortunately, they’ve discovered that there are some huge performance issues in the PC version of the game. Luckily, the developers of the game have acknowledged these issues and promised a future patch will fix issues.
Wild Hearts performance issues patch coming next week
Over on Reddit, the Wild Hearts developers have stated that “Omega Force are working continuously to improve and optimize the game for a wide variety of hardware specs across future updates. We have a patch coming next week that addresses a CPU bottleneck problem the team discovered; this should improve performance across mid-high end CPU’s”
Here are some of the other issues that have been identified and fixed in the upcoming patch according to another Reddit post from the same developer:
“A CPU threading issue has been fixed. We are seeing significantly improved performance on high-end PCs.”
“AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX visual artifacts fixed. Also added the option to turn off reflections in the settings menu.”
“The default resolution when launching the game for the first time will now be 1080p. We discovered many users are running higher resolutions than the recommended spec can safely support. We are adjusting the recommended spec guidance online and will continue to optimize in this area. If you are running the game comfortably at higher resolutions, you can continue to do so and select alternate resolutions from the settings menu.”
“Additional stability and bug fixes”
Hopefully, these fixes allow players on PC who have been dealing with Wild Hearts performance issues to enjoy the title and hunt alongside their friends.
