Hideo Kojima's PT demo, which ended up being a teaser for his new game Silent Hills, was downloaded over one million times, Sony announced during its pre-TGS conference.
Following the cryptic announcement of PT during Sony's gamescom presser, the demo was available on the PlayStation Store as a free download. And while Kojima expected it to take the gaming populace a long time to crack the secret behind the teaser, later that day we discovered it was all about a new entry in the Silent Hill franchise.
Silent Hills is being developed by both Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima and film legend Guillermo del Toro. Oh, and if that wasn't enough to pique your interest, actor Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead fame is the game's protagonist. Yeah, this has money-making hit written all over it.
