Platinum’s The Legend of Korra Game Gets a Release Date

The Legend of Korra from developer Platinum Games finally has a release date. The digital-only title will be available for download via PlayStation Network and Steam on October 21st, and a day later on the 22nd via Xbox Live.

In an interview with IGN, Activision's Robert Conkey revealed the launch details and also pulled back the curtain on an additional mode that will be unlocked once the main game has been completed. It centers around the cartoon's sport "pro-bending" where teams of three face off in a point-based arena game.

Any Korra fans out there psyched to give this game a go when it hits the various digital channels this October? As a huge fan of both the Nickelodeon series and Platinum's work, you can bet I'll be there day one.
