New Tower Defense Game in the Shadow of the Colossus

Developers Surprise Attack Games revealed their latest creation today in the form of Burden, a tower defense game set on massive mechanical creatures that journey throughout a level as you go. Check out the trailer above to see the game in action.

Burden promises multiple simultaneous battlefronts where players use shields, artillery towers, and more to defend their chosen monster as enemies try to take it down. The game features the Mhoroa civilization which has built itself on the backs of these machines.

Players will have to defend from enemies on their way to civilization-saving points on the map, but once there fellow countrymen can react in fear and try to kill the colossi. Burden is shooting for Steam Early Access and Surprise Attack Games hope you'll join them on the road to release by visiting their community hub.

We'll have more on Burden as it nears re– oh no, what is that thing?! It's coming toward us!! Oh, it's just one of the monsters from the game. Nevermind.
