Jungle Rumble Swings Into Action on iOS And Android in April

Jungle Rumble aims to mash up two very different gaming genres. Developer Disco Pixel blends rhythm and real-time strategy to give players a tribe of monkeys that need to protect their bananas from rivals. Gamers visiting PAX East will be able to try the game ahead of its release in April.

In order to control the game, you drum on the touch-screen to keep a beat even while considering which moves to make next. "I love rhythm games, but eventually you see the man behind the curtain – you are following a script," developer Trevor Stricker says. "Does playing with rhythm have to bre pressing when told? Our game has players making meaningful decisions, split second choices and implementing strategies."

We'll be at PAX East again this year. Will you?
