Fortnite No Building Mode Build Leaks

Fortnite Leak Allegedly Reveals ‘No Build’ Mode to Be Permanent

The Fortnite ‘no building’ mode may be becoming a permanent fixture in the game, according to several leaks. Fortnite had introduced this no building mode at the start of the new season as a way to respond to players who feel as though the game has become more about gathering materials and building the tallest structure for cover, rather than actual gunplay.

What do the leaks reveal about Fortnite no build mode?

Originally, a prolific data miner for Fortnite named @TweaBR on Twitter had found that various modes like Solo, Duo, and Trio appeared to have the option to turn the ability to build off. In the tweet, the user reveals that the mode will likely be called ‘Solo – No Build Battle Royale’ after the season is over.

In addition, another Fortnite dataminer @HypeEx has dug up some of the game’s loading screens with text that references “modes with building enabled” as further evidence that there will be an option to toggle building on and off, when the default mode returns on March 29. It also suggests that there will be Fortnite no building modes that can be enabled at anytime.

Currently, the Fortnite no building mode is only a Limited Time mode, but past modes in the game that were available for a limited time like Team Rumble have become permanent. When the new Chapter 3 Season 2 started after maintenance, queues lasted over an hour for players to try the new variant, which adds an overshield, a new mantling system, and faster player speed in order to compensate for the lack of building.

The popularity of the Fortnite no build variant, along with the leaks, indicates that Epic Games is well-prepared to add it fully. As most Fortnite seasons last about ten weeks, it will likely be around May before we will know if the leaks are true.

In other news, Fortnite’s 3.50 update has launchedthe next Tango Gameworks game may not be in the horror genre, and Nintendo has responded to the eShop being down for a week.
