The Elden Ring update 1.03.2 patch notes have been revealed, with FromSoftware unveiling a number of bug fixes across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC. These new fixes include the removal of a very annoying bug for online players, which would see griefers able to teleport them to incorrect map coordinates, often resulting in them being stuck in a death loop that would ruin their saved game.
What’s changed in the Elden Ring update 1.03.2 patch notes?
FromSoftware released the full patch notes for the Elden Ring 1.03.2 update today, with them included below:
- Fixed a bug that sometime prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline
- Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum
- Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates
Players must be online in order to download the new patch, with the version number (1.03.2) displaying in the lower-right corner of the title screen if installed properly.
It’s not a huge update for the open-world game, but considering the amount of post-launch effort FromSoftware has put into the game in order to improve it — from fixing broken questlines to adding NPC markers and more — this will be another welcome update for players. It will be particularly welcome for those who had stumbled upon the teleportation bug, given that this had effectively ruined online play for many griefers. It also fixes yet another broken questline, with Nepheli Loux’s quests now able to be continued for players.
In other news, The Witcher 4’s game director recently promised that the game won’t have crunch, following CD Projekt Red’s controversies with Cyberpunk 2077. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed was also announced, an asymmetrical multiplayer game in the vein of Dead by Daylight.
