Once players get Godrick’s Great Rune in Elden Ring, they may feel a little lost. The item’s description reads that players need to power up the rune at the Divine Tower of Limgrave. The problem is, no one says anything about where it is. Figuring out where to go after completing Stormveil Castle isn’t easy, but fortunately, players don’t have to go too far.
Where to power up Godrick’s Great Rune in Elden Ring
Finding the Divine Tower of Limgrave location is what players need to do after beating Godrick in Elden Ring. It’s not far from where Godrick breathes his last, but it can be treacherous to get there.
Players should teleport to the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace and make their way southeast. That means that the big bunch of Exiles in the courtyard need to be snuck by or cleared out. We recommend clearing them out because players are likely to alert them when they move to the next section. Players should continue down the path to the southeast, heading toward the front gate. However, be aware that players will come into range of a ballista shooting exploding arrows just around the first corner at the bottom of the stairs. The tricky part here is that there’s also one on the cliff to the left. So, players can run and hope for the best or use ranged attacks to destroy the ballista.
At the bottom of the sloped path, players will find another courtyard filled with Exiles. A few of them can be backstabbed, but players will have to run anyway, so it might be best to ignore them. The aim here is to get through the tower to the left before the Vanguard Lion gets too close. Touch the Site of Grace on the other side of the tower and get ready for one last run.
Past the Site of Grace is a bridge. Unfortunately, there are three giant Guardian Golems here that want to crush the player. The best thing to do here is to run as quickly as possible to the end of the bridge. There are columns that players can use to block the arrows that the third golem shoots, which is great because they hit hard. At the end of the bridge is a portal that will teleport players to the Divine Tower of Limgrave. Players should hit it as quickly as possible and they’ll arrive at their destination.
Now, just ride the elevator up, and keep climbing to the top. There, players can use the alter to power up Godrick’s Great Rune. After the rune is powered up, return to the Roundtable Hold and meet the Two Fingers to get a bit of lore.
