Sifu is a really tough game, but it could be even tougher if players were able to face each other in combat. Pitting the best Kung-Fu warriors against one another would make for some epic moments, that’s for sure. So, is it possible? Here’s the need-to-know information about Sifu multiplayer and whether or not players can fight together in PvP or online co-op.
Does Sifu have multiplayer?
Sifu does not have multiplayer.
Sifu is a single-player game that focuses on a solo experience. Players are on their own journey, learning from failure until they ultimately topple all of their enemies (or give up). Multiplayer doesn’t factor into the experience.
Will Sifu get a multiplayer update for PvP and/or co-op?
It’s possible that Sifu will get a multiplayer update for PvP and/or co-op.
At the time of writing, Sifu is set to remain a purely single-player experience. However, there’s certainly room for a multiplayer component. Developer Sloclap’s previous game, Absolver, had multiplayer, so there’s certainly precedence in previous games of a similar genre.
Games like Ghost of Tsushima, which seem as though they will remain entirely single-player, have had multiplayer experiences surprisingly implemented. Perhaps something similar will happen with Sifu? Hopefully players will hear more about post-launch content sooner, rather than later.
For now, Sifu is a single-player game. There is no online multiplayer component. If this changes, GameRevolution will be the first to let you know.
