Halo Infinite Double XP

When is the Halo Infinite Double XP weekend?

Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer is in full swing and many fans are looking ahead to the first double XP weekend. These special events are a great chance for players to vastly boost their level, with weapon and general XP worth double. It’s common practice in multiplayer FPS games, but when will the first Halo Infinite double XP weekend arrive? Here’s the need-to-know info.

Halo Infinite Double XP weekend date

Halo Infinite Double XP

At the moment, we don’t quite know when the first Halo Infinite double XP weekend will take place. However, we do know for a fact that this mechanic will be in the game. As such, it’s a matter of sitting tight and waiting for news.

Yes, Halo fans will be pleased to know that a Halo Infinite double XP weekend is most likely on the way at some point. In a tweet from May, prior to the game’s launch, the official Halo account announced a double XP weekend for Halo 5. As such, there’s no reason to expect that they’d remove this functionality in the latest game.

What’s harder to determine is when the first double XP weekend will land in Halo Infinite. Considering the game’s single-player mode is due to launch on December 8, it seems unlikely that there will be one the weekend of December 11-12. This would no doubt cannibalize the player-base, with so many trying out Master Chief’s latest adventure. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a double XP event this weekend (December 4-5), to drum up hype for the impending campaign launch.

Of course, we’ll know for certain once the official Halo Twitter account shares information. Considering the multiplayer has been out for almost a month now, it’s only a matter of time until the first promotional XP event lands. With the game coming out of beta and launching fully next week, you can guarantee we’ll get a Halo Infinite XP promotion in December.
