Episode 3 of Hawkeye is here, containing even more teases of the impending arrival of the Kingpin. While it’s still not official just yet, all signs are pointing towards Vincent D’Onofrio returning as the Hawkeye Kingpin voice actor. He played Wilson Fisk in the Daredevil Netflix show, and it seems like he’s back for Hawkeye.

Yes, as Hawkeye progresses it seems increasingly likely that D’Onofrio’s Kingpin will return. In this latest episode, he’s referred to as “Uncle” by members of the Tracksuit Mafia. He’s a figure that Hawkeye already seems familiar with. He tells Kate Bishop that he’s “someone you don’t want to mess with,” suggesting they’ve interacted before. Since we saw the extent of Fisk’s criminal connections in Daredevil, it’s no unreasonable assumption to assume that heralds his imminent MCU return.

Equally, the presence of this “Uncle” figure around Echo also points towards a Hawkeye Kingpin return. Early in the episode, we see a solitary hand stroke Echo’s cheek, and later in the episode she makes reference to her father. In the comics, he adopts Echo as his daughter, so this latest tease is all but confirmation.

Who is the Kingpin actor in Hawkeye?

While we haven’t seen his physical return yet, only hearing his voice, many are assuming that Vincent D’Onofrio will also return for Kingpin’s physical performance. Of course, that hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. However, this tweet from D’Onofrio himself certainly puts fuel on the fire of these rumors.
