Spider-Man No Way Home poster

Spider-Man: No Way Home poster all but confirms Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin

The first official Spider-Man: No Way Home poster has finally been revealed by Sony and Marvel and seems to confirm multiple villains. Presumably released in advance of the movie’s second trailer, which has already had footage leaked that seemingly confirmed Electro, the poster may have confirmed him alongside Sandman and that Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Green Goblin will indeed be the Willem Dafoe version.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Poster

The Spider-Man: No Way Home poster is finally out and seems to tease various villains, including a full reveal of Green Goblin in the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 1 costume worn by Willem Dafoe. The poster also seems to show Doc Ock, Electro, and Sandman, although the last two are a bit more subtle.

Green Goblin can clearly be seen in the background of the poster on the right-hand side and is the only character other than Spider-Man (Tom Holland) to appear in full. The metal tentacles of Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), who was revealed in the movie’s trailer, also prominently feature. However, the appearance of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) is also heavily teased with a huge blue lightning bolt and swirling sand in the shape of a hand.

All of these villains were glimpsed in the initial trailer and it seems Spider-Man: No Way Home may be going straight to a multiverse version of the Sinister Six — with Vulture (Michael Keaton) appearing in the latest Morbius trailer and Venom: Let There Be Carnage hinting at a Spider-Man crossover too.

Spider-Man: No Way Home opens on December 17 and the second trailer is presumably due soon, maybe even this week — which may fully confirm not only these villains but also Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s return as alternate universe Spider-Man, and maybe even Daredevil (Charlie Cox) too.
