ConcernedApe has announced his next game will be Haunted Chocolatier. Alongside the reveal, we got a brief trailer, and an FAQ about the game giving details about the release date and upon which platforms Haunted Chocolatier will launch. While there’s still a lot about the game that’s a mystery, we’ve got some solid facts about it below.
When will Haunted Chocolatier’s release date be?
Unfortunately, there’s no release date announced for Haunted Chocolatier yet. In fact, there’s no release window at all. Here’s what ConcernedApe had to say in the FAQ:
“I can’t commit to a release date yet. It’s still relatively early in development and I want to be able to work in peace without the pressure of a release date, or even an estimated release date.”
What platforms will Haunted Chocolatier release on?
So far, the only confirmed platform that Haunted Chocolatier will release on is PC. However, ConcernedApe states that it’ll likely come to other platforms:
“The only platform I am 100% certain about is PC. However, I have every intention of bringing it to the other major platforms as well.”
ConcernedApe’s previous game, Stardew Valley, made its way to every current major platform:

- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation Vita
- Switch
- Xbox One
While the PC version of the game has been the primary development platform for Stardew Valley, ConcernedApe has continued to update the title on all platforms except for PS Vita. Unfortunately, support for the PS Vita version of the game was dropped just a month after release due to system limitations.
We can assume that ConcernedApe will follow a similar pattern with Haunted Chocolatier. However, since he’s the only person working on the game, he may decide to focus his energy on one platform. We won’t know for sure until he reveals more info about the game.
