In a shocking turn of events, Fortnite will cross over with Among Us in the near future. It’ll take place in Fortnite’s new Impostors Mode, which was a not-so-subtle tribute to the beloved social game. What started as an innocuous Twitter conversation between the Fornite and Among Us accounts might now be the latest triple-A crossover to land on Fortnite. Fortnite and Among Us crossover revealed
Yes, you read that right: Fortnite and Among Us will, at some point in the future, link up for a crossover event. That’s per an entertaining Twitter interaction between both games’ accounts. More than anything, it confirms that a linked events between both games is in the works.

Of course, this appears to be in the very early stages at present. However, we’ve seen enough corporate Twitter exchanges to know that this was probably a pre-planned, casual announcement rather than an impromptu discussion. There’s no details yet on what the crossover will be, or when to expect it. That said, you can expect to see Crewmate-style skins in Fortnite. On top of that, don’t be surprised to see an expansion to the Impostors mode, likely introducing the tasks and locations in Among Us.
This is a crossover long in the making. Ever since Fortnite released Impostors in August, the comparison to Among Us have been unavoidable. With good reason, too, as the asymmetrical gameplay is the exact sort of mechanic that made Among Us a viral sensation in 2020. When released, the Among Us devs made their disappointment clear.

However, today’s announcement certainly signals an improvement in relations. Among Us fans will no doubt be happy to see Fortnite pay tribute to the game that inspired Imposters. While it might be a way off, the Fortnite and Among Us crossover will certainly be an event worth waiting for.
