It’s all the usual problems you’d expect from a high-intensity mobile game: your device overheating, racing through battery, and stuttering during gameplay. To first the PUBG: New State iOS overheating, stuttering, battery consumption issues, we recommend fully closing all other apps running on your iOS device. This will reduce the amount of multitasking processing your device is doing, which should smoothen performance a bit.
Next, you’ll want to make sure you’re running the latest system software, and that the PUBG: New State app is fully updated. These are minor tweaks but will help ensure your device is running as best as it can.
Other than that, you’ll sadly have to just wait until the game fully launches, where these issues should be ironed out. It’s annoying, but it’s the exact reason games go through alpha testing.
As PUBG: New State is a brand-new release, these issues aren’t a surprise. The good news is the developers have promised a future update to resolve these problems.

As you can see from the tweet, this isn’t an update that’s going to solve these issues during the ongoing alpha. That might not be a surprise, since the whole point of an alpha is to weed out performance issues like this, but it’s certainly annoying.
