But what The Suicide Squad deaths can the fans expect? Will major names like Harley Quinn and Bloodsport die, or will it be minor villains like Polka-Dot Man, Javelin, and Savant? Here are all the Suicide Squad 2 deaths fans can expect — full spoilers for the movie follow!

What The Suicide Squad deaths are there?

Who dies in The Suicide Squad

Here are all the major members of The Suicide Squad who die during the movie, in rough order:

  • Blackguard (Pete Davidson): dies attempting to sell the team out to the Corto Maltese military, and is shot in the face.
  • Mongal (Mayling Ng): jumps and takes out a helicopter, which then crashes with her attached. She burns and blows up.
  • Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney): possibly the biggest shock of the movie’s opening is the surprise death of the returning Digger Harkness, who is impaled by a tree following Mongal’s helicopter crash, and then is properly taken out by the helicopter exploding.
  • T.D.K. (Nathan Fillion): shot following his useless attempts to slap soldiers with his detachable arms. They shoot the arms and then him.
  • Javelin (Flula Borg): shot before he can even use his javelin, although passes it on to Harley Quinn.
  • Savant (Michael Rooker): another surprise death given the opening scene is devoted to him. Savant panics and tries to flee, but becomes the only Squad member to die having the bomb in their head activated by Waller.
  • The Thinker (Peter Capaldi): torn apart by the escaping and vengeful Starro the Conqueror.
  • Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman): killed by Peacemaker.
  • Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian): squished by Starro the Conqueror.
  • Starro the Conqueror: killed by the Suicide Squad.

There are only a handful of characters alive at the end of the movie. The two surprise survivals are Weasel (Sean Gunn), who is seemingly the first to die but is revealed to actually be alive at the end, and Peacemaker (John Cena) — who returns in the post-credits scene to set up his own HBO Max show, coming next year.
