Are Phasmophobia PSVR and Oculus Quest versions coming out? The PC VR ghost hunting game has become pretty popular, leaving gamers with alternative virtual reality headsets wondering if it’ll come to their platform of choice. Find out if Phasmophobia Oculus Quest and PlayStation VR ports are being developed in this guide.
Is Phasmophobia coming to PSVR?
Fans are eager to see a Phasmophobia PSVR release date announced. That isn’t surprising, what with PlayStation VR being the most widely adopted HMD and horror one of the most popular genres. Throw in optional co-op gameplay and a Phasmophobia PS4 version could easily be a hit.
Unfortunately, there are no current plans to launch a Phasmophobia PSVR port. There’s no Phasmophobia PS4 release date to look forward to as a result.
It is possible, however, that the game’s ongoing success could result in an eventual Phasmophobia PlayStation 4 version. Although it isn’t currently on Kinetic Games’ development roadmap, popular PC VR titles getting ported to PSVR is commonplace.
Is Phasmophobia coming to Oculus Quest?
Phasmophobia is coming to Oculus Quest. There’s no Phasmophobia Oculus Quest release date at the moment, but the developer’s Trello roadmap confirms that plans are in place to “publish [the] game to Quest.”
By the time that the Phasmophobia Quest launch date rolls around, the Oculus Quest 2 will most likely be out. That means we could get an optimized Phasmophobia Oculus Quest 2 version as well. Of course, since there will be no exclusive Quest 2 games for a while, original Oculus Quest owners will be able to play Phasmophobia too.
