Crash Bandicoot 4 demo Tawna

Crash Bandicoot 4 demo available next week (but only if you pre-order)

The Crash Bandicoot 4 demo is going to be available a couple of weeks before the game launches in October — but only for people who pre-order the game. It’s not all bad news, though: Crash Bandicoot’s girlfriend Tawna has been confirmed as a playable character!

The PlayStation YouTube channel has revealed a lengthy 14-minute gameplay trailer showing Tawna in action. Crash’s girlfriend is back with a cool new look and she’s able to kick some serious butt, although it’s not quite the game girl we know and love — this version of the character is from another dimension.

What does Tawna bring to the game? Aside from lightning-fast kicks, Tawna has a hookshot that allows her to get through levels pretty quickly. She also has the ability to wall jump, further emphasizing her ability as a speedy character.

We get to see a fair bit more gameplay in this gameplay reveal trailer, but there’s one critical new fact highlighted in its description: the Crash Bandicoot 4 demo will be made available two weeks early to people who pre-order the game.

If you’ve been itching for some new Crash Bandicoot gameplay, you can pre-order Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on the PlayStation Store and get access to the demo on September 16, 2020. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time launches for PS4 on October 2, 2020.
