Atlus Adding Cross-Play To Dragon’s Crown After Fan Demand

Atlus announced today that their hardcore action-RPG Dragon's Crown, available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, would soon feature cross-platform play. Previously, Vita owners who couldn't find other handheld players were up Dragon's Creek without a paddle. That's a place in the game right?

"Since launch, we've been hearing from our fans how much they wanted Cross-Play in Dragon's Crown," Atlus says. While the feature didn't make launch, Vanillaware has been continuing development on Dragon's Crown.

The Cross-Play update will hit North America soon, but if you've been holding off on purchasing the game you can get it on PSN or at retail for $10 off this week. Nick Tan said in his review that "Dragon's Crown evolves the beat-'em-up genre to the next evolutionary step in overall gameplay and art design." He also tossed out casually that "there's no better-looking title on the Vita…" so… you know. Buy it.
