The Command and Conquer Remastered Collection is a dream come true for classic RTS fans. It bundles the original C&C along with Red Alert, remastering the visuals in 4K to offer a definitive strategy experience. That’s got plenty of people hot under the collar for a console release, but are we actually scheduled to get Command and Conquer Remastered Collection PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions? Stick with this C&C Remastered console guide to find out.
Is Command and Conquer Remastered Collection coming to PS4?
At the time of writing, Electronic Arts haven’t announced any plans to release a C&C Remastered PlayStation 4 port. There’s no Command and Conquer Remastered Collection PS4 release date for us to share as a result.
ALSO: EA will release Command & Conquer Remastered source code alongside the game
Although there’s been no official announcement, the Command & Conquer series has a long history on the Sony platform. C&C games — including those being remastered here — have been releasing on PlayStation since the very beginning. Though it’s been a while since the last installment (2009’s Red Alert 3), there’s clearly an audience if EA chooses to serve them with a PS4 release of C&C Remastered Collection.
Is Command and Conquer Remastered Collection coming to Xbox One?
Unfortunately, there are currently no known plans to release a C&C Remastered Xbox One port. With EA not having announced the game for Microsoft’s console, obviously there isn’t a Command and Conquer Remastered Collection Xbox One release date at this time.
Though Xbox doesn’t share the same storied history with the C&C franchise as PlayStation does, a few installments have made the transition. Since much of the heavy lifting has arguably already been done in translating the RTS series to a controller, perhaps EA will choose to release an Xbox version later.
Is Command and Conquer Remastered Collection coming to Nintendo Switch?
Again, EA hasn’t publically shared any plans to release a C&C Remastered Switch port. This means there’s no Command and Conquer Remastered Collection Nintendo Switch release date.
Although some classic C&C games hit Nintendo platforms in the past, modern titles have been absent. That doesn’t serve to rule Switch out, but finding a way to avoid small units getting lost on the portable screen might be challenging for developers. Stranger things have happened, however, so only time will tell.
