Figuring out how to get Mafia Trilogy on Steam is harder than it sounds as you can’t just buy it like any other game on the platform. So how do you get the bundle with all of the Mafia games on PC? What do you have to do?
How to get Mafia Trilogy on Steam
The Mafia: Trilogy contains:
- Mafia: Definitive Edition
- Mafia 2: Definitive Edition
- Mafia 3: Definitive Edition
However, that trilogy bundle isn’t listed on Steam. They’re all separate purchases on their own store pages. And it’s significantly more expensive if you buy them all separately ($100 versus $60) so you don’t want to do that and spend unnecessarily. Remember that if you own Mafia 2 or Mafia 3 on PC, you get the remasters for free. Console owners also get the upgrade if they own Mafia 3 (the DLC is all free if you do own it, which also applies if you picked it up on PlayStation Plus).
ALSO: Mafia Trilogy release dates possibly leaked by Microsoft
For now, in order to get the Mafia: Trilogy on Steam, you’re going to have to wait until the bundle comes online whenever that may be. The entire bundle is currently on the PlayStation and Xbox digital storefronts right now and buying it gives you immediate access to the two sequels and pre-orders the original remaster that’s coming on August 27. The bundle is technically there on Steam like the other platforms, but it is just unlisted as the moment. After all, our review code was just one code, showing that bundle does exist in some capacity.
2K and Hangar 13 have not responded to why the Mafia: Trilogy bundle is not live yet on Steam so it is unknown how long you will have to wait. It should not be too long. Keep an eye out as it should be coming sometime soon.
