Legends of Runeterra is getting a lot of attention following its successful PC, iOS, and Android launch. That’s got plenty of console gamers excited about the prospect of Riot Games’ League of Legends CCG being released on their platform of choice. Is it ever going to happen, though? In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about potential Legends of Runeterra Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One ports.
Is Legends of Runeterra coming to Nintendo Switch?
At the time of writing, unfortunately, LoR developer Riot Games hasn’t announced any plans to bring its collectible card game to Switch. As a result, there’s currently no Legends of Runeterra Nintendo Switch release date for us to share.

Although there’s no official word on a Legends of Runeterra Switch release, Riot has been more open to bringing its games to console platforms recently. Typically a PC-focused developer that dips its toe into mobile, a representative from the LA studio stated that it’s “open to exploring new opportunities for other platforms” when asked about possible console versions of FPS Valorant.
When you also consider that League of Legends: Wild Rift is set to bring the immensely popular MOBA to consoles for the first time, it seems clear that Riot Games is looking to expand and embrace more platforms. Whether or not that’ll result in us getting a Legends of Runeterra Switch release date in the future remains to be seen.
Is Legends of Runeterra coming to PS4?
As with the Switch version, there’s been no word on a Legends of Runeterra PS4 port from the developers at Riot. Once again, that means there isn’t a Legends of Runeterra PS4 release date at this point in time.
Since Riot is exploring bringing games like Valorant and LoL to PlayStation 4 and other consoles, it’s possible that we’ll see the CCG hit sony hardware at some point. Still, there’s nothing concrete just yet.
Is Legends of Runeterra coming to Xbox One?
You might’ve already guessed it, but no, Legends of Runeterra isn’t currently scheduled to release for Xbox One. Obviously, that means no Legends of Runeterra Xbox One release date has been announced.
As with the other platforms, there is at least a chance of LoR hitting Microsoft’s console. Riot seems to be looking to broaden its horizons and releasing a Legends of Runeterra Xbox One port could fit that bill.
