At long last, we know that its release date on other platforms is set to be June 16, 2020, but is there a Disintegration Nintendo Switch release date, though? In this guide, we’ll take a look at whether or not there is, or ever will be, a Disintegration Switch release date. Read on to find out how likely a Disintegration Nintendo Switch port is, with reasons for and against such a release.
Is there a Disintegration Nintendo Switch release date?
As of writing, there is no Disintegration Nintendo Switch release date. There has been no official confirmation of a Disintegration Switch port either being in the works or not being in the works. Right now, though, a Switch release of the sci-fi first-person shooter from the co-creator of Halo is not entirely out of the question, however.

Speaking to PowerUp Gaming in April 2020, Marcus Lehto (Disintegration’s director) explained that the development team has “toyed around” with Disintegration on Switch. Lehto added that “it’s a pretty cool possibility.” While the publishers have nothing to announce on the game coming to Nintendo Switch, Lehto’s comments suggest, at least, that the developers have thought about it and even toyed with getting it to work on the platform.
As with most games, however, we’ll have to wait and see how Disintegration performs before a Switch release date can be announced. With a digital-only release currently planned, Disintegration isn’t setting itself up for massive success. Despite this, a Switch port has potential. If the game sells well and the developers can get it performing nicely on the Switch, we could see a port happening in the future. With release schedules and development times, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it release in 2021, however, if it releases at all. It all depends on how well it sells on other platforms. We’ll have to wait and see. For now, though, you can play Disintegration on PS4, Xbox One, and PC from June 16, 2020.
