There’s a lot of stuff to unlock in Call of Duty: Warzone. And, just like in Modern Warfare, players will need CP or COD Points in order to access certain content. COD Points are notably used to purchase the game’s Battle Pass, which unlocks more CP down the line. So how do you get CP in Warzone? Read on to find out.
How to get CP in Call of Duty: Warzone
There are two ways to get CP or COD Points in Warzone: Either purchase them from the in-game store, or earn CP through the Battle Pass. Since you need to buy the Battle Pass with COD Points, you’ll likely have to spend real-world money to get CP to start rolling in.

With that said, it is still possible to get some COD Points for free. The Warzone Battle Passes for Season 1 and Season 2 have three free tiers, each offering 100 COD Points. Assuming you’ve already dropped CP to buy the Battle Pass, you can earn up to 1300 COD Points per Season by leveling it up.
This is how the cycle works: Grind a bit or spend a little cash to buy the first Battle Pass, then use earnings to purchase later Battle Passes. As long as you seed your endeavor with 1000 COD Points, you’ll assure that CP won’t run out when the new seasons come around.
By and large, you can earn CP in Warzone by working through each season’s Battle Pass. You’ll need to spend some real-world money in order to secure the first, but after that, COD Points will start rolling in steadily. Each season offers the chance to earn 1300 COD Points, so as long as you keep leveling up, you shouldn’t ever run out. Just be sure to keep 1000 CP handy for the time when the next season is about to begin.
