After months of rumors about Horizon Zero Dawn coming to PC, we’ve finally got good news: Sony’s Head of Worldwide Studios Hermen Hulst has confirmed that there will be a Horizon Zero Dawn PC release date, and it’s coming sooner than you think.
Mr. Hulst had an interview in the PlayStation blog where he touched on a variety of subjects about the future of Sony and the PlayStation. One of the more interesting questions, however, is whether or not Horizon Zero Dawn would be coming to PC. He was asked outright if they were true, and his answer is sure to make PC gamers very happy.

“Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer[,]” Hermen Hulst said in the PlayStation Blog interview. “There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets] pretty soon.”
Now that we know that the Horizon Zero Dawn PC release date is sometime in Summer 2020, does that mean that other PlayStation first-party games will follow? Not necessarily, Mr. Hulst says.
“[Releasing] one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC,” he said. “In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.”
You’ll be able to play the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn on June 5, 2020. For now, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
