Fable Anniversary Delayed To 2014

Lionhead Studios has announced that the release of Fable Anniversary has been delayed to next year.

Fable Anniversary is a high-definition remake of the original Fable, which first launched on Xbox back in 2004. This visually-improved version was originally supposed to arrive on Xbox 360 before year's end, but unfortunately that is (obviously) no longer the case.

The studio explained why the game has been delayed in a post on its blog.

We’ve been working hard for the past year to bring you the very best Fable Anniversary experience on Xbox 360. We feel though, that we need a little more time in order to meet our ambitions and give you, the fans, the best game possible.

I know I speak for everyone at Lionhead when I say that we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to, and it gives us great pleasure to let you know that you can expect Fable Anniversary to be both on-shelves and online via the Xbox Games Store in February 2014.

The studio promises to release new media and information about the game in the weeks and months to come, so keep it locked to GameRevolution for all of your Fable-related gaming needs.
