How to get the Fortnite Lovethorn Skin
As of writing, the Lovethorn skin in Fortnite is leaked. This means that everything we know about it is liable to change. Despite this, it has been leaked by reliable Fortnite dataminer Lucas7yoshi, meaning there should be at least some truth to everything here. Based on the leak, though, we do know a few things about the Lovethorn Outfit, including how you should be able to unlock it. It seems, at least, as though you’ll need to buy the Lovethorn Skin from the Item Shop.

Based on the leaks, we know that Lovethorn should be an Epic Outfit and part of the Wild Hearts Set. This means that you should be able to buy it from the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. It’s unclear as to whether you’ll be able to unlock it via completing challenges, however, as the Lovethorn Skin has two variants. Other skins with two variants can have challenges that allow you to unlock the other style after purchasing the standard style. This could be the case with the Fortnite Lovethorn Skin, too.
We imagine that the Lovethorn Skin will be relatively rare in Item Shop rotation, however. If you are keen on it, you’ll likely need to buy it right away in case it fails to turn up again for an age. It looks like the perfect Fortnite Outfit to celebrate Valentine’s Day, for sure. We can’t make up our minds, however, on whether we prefer the standard or dark style of the Lovethorn Skin.
