The first piece of Shenmue 3 DLC has been revealed. Titled Battle Rally, this new piece of content for Shenmue 3 is going to be bringing some interesting new gameplay to this long-awaited video game.

Simply put, Battle Rally will let players participate in a race that’s “unlike any other” according to a press release. Participants will have to face off against each other in one-on-one battles while also trying to complete a challenging racecourse. Those who make it across the finish line first will score some pretty neat items.
That’s not all that’s coming in this DLC, though. For the first time, you’ll be able to play as other characters besides Ryo Hazuki. Players will have the option of playing as Wuying Ren or Ryo’s sparring partner Wei Zhen in this new piece of content.
The Shenmue 3 DLC Battle Rally will be launching for PC and PS4 on January 21, 2020, at a price of $7.99/€7.99/£6.49 or your regional equivalent.
