At long last, Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally out on PC, and this could well mean the beginning of many a Red Dead Redemption 2 PC mod. In this guide, we’ll provide you with a Red Dead Redemption 2 mods list for PC, which contains all the currently-known mods in development for the game. Read on to discover everything there is to know about mods in RDR2 on PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Mods List for PC
As the time of writing, with the game having just launched, there aren’t too many mods to tell you about for the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port. Despite this, there are a few known mods available for the game. Remember, however, that for these mods to work depends on the game’s level of DRM protection. Any mods you download and apply to RDR2 on PC, too, can affect save files and worse, so you always download and install at your own risk.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Mods Support
Now that you know that some mods are already in the works for RDR2 on PC, we thought we’d better let you know what Rockstar has to say on mod support for the game. IGN asked Rockstar North associate technical director Alex Hajadj about mods specifically. The answer, we’re afraid, is somewhat non-committal.
Hajadj explained that Rockstar loves “the passion that players have for” its games “and the creativity that comes with that.” Rockstar’s “priority, as always, is on working to preserve the integrity of the Red Dead Online experience… making sure that the community can enjoy that space freely in the way it was intended.”
While the answer is non-committal, we’ll know how lenient Rockstar is when it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2 PC mod support soon enough.
