Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission

You’ll find eleven challenges to complete in the New World Mission. Rather than earning Battle Stars, it appears as though you will earn XP for completing all challenges, at least for now. Each challenge you complete will bag you a cool 14,000 XP, which will level up your Battle Pass Tier. Completing eight of these 11 challenges, however, will unlock you the New World Loading Screen. Read on to discover how to complete each challenge. Please do remember, too, that other players will be trying to complete these challenges, so do be careful out there.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Discover Named Locations

Unlike in previous Seasons of Fortnite, Season 11 ushers in Chapter 2, with its new map and Named Locations. You will need to discover all of them before the map looks complete, however. Before you discover them all, they will simply appear as question marks on your map. This challenge tasks you with discovering ten Named Locations. Simply head to where the question marks are on your map to discover each location.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Eliminations at Lazy Lake or Misty Meadows

To complete this challenge, you will need to simply eliminate three opponents within either Lazy Lake or Misty Meadows. Both of these Named Locations are close by on the map, so you shouldn’t have too many issues completing this one if you play the game enough this week.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Discover Landmarks

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission

Unlike the Named Locations, the Landmarks are not marked on your map with question marks. You will need to discover only ten Landmarks in order to complete this challenge. Thankfully, we know where to find them at least ten of them. Simply head to the locations highlighted on the map above to find them. There are plenty more Landmarks than the ones we’ve highlighted above, but head to these locations and you should complete the challenge. Anywhere that’s left greyed-out from your map that isn’t a Named Location should contain at least one Landmark for you to discover.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Ride a Motorboat in different matches

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission

The Motorboat is a new vehicle that has been introduced with Season 11. This powerful vehicle can be driven on land or on water and comes equipped with rockets and a boost function. You’ll typically find Motorboats dotted around areas with water, such as the coast or by lakes. Simply hop on one and drive it around in three different matches to complete this challenge.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Deal damage with Assault Rifles to opponents

Grab an Assault Rifle and deal 500 damage to opponents in order to complete this challenge. That’s all there is to it.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Search chests at Sweaty Sands or Retail Row

You know the drill by now. Head to either Sweaty Sands or Retail Row and find and open seven chests. There should be plenty of them around for everyone, but watch out for opponents as they’ll be trying to open chests before you.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Eliminations in different matches

In order to complete this challenge, you will need some skill at the game, but you do have a week in which to complete it. Simply eliminate an opponent in five different matches. That’s one per match, not five eliminations in a single match.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Catch a weapon using a Fishing Rod

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission

Grab yourself a Fishing Rod (a new item) and fish up a weapon (any weapon’ll do). We’ve got an entire guide on how to fish in Fortnite, so we’d recommend checking that out right about now. Simply keep fishing until you catch a weapon.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Deal damage with SMGs, Shotguns, and Pistols in a single match

To complete this challenge you will need to get hold of an SMG, a Shotgun, and a Pistol and deal any amount of damage with each weapon in one match. It’ll be trickier than it sounds to complete, but it should be doable over a week.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Carry a Knocked player 10m

Carrying Knocked out players is a brand-new feature in Fortnite. With it, you’ll be able to pick up and carry any Knocked player around for as long as you like. This could be useful for carrying Knocked teammates out of the firing line before you revive them. In order to complete this challenge, you will need to carry one Knocked player across a total distance of ten meters. You should get a notification that you have completed the challenge so you don’t have to guess how far you have carried them.

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission Challenges | Search hidden ‘F’ found in the New World Loading Screen

Fortnite Season 11 New World Mission

While we don’t know for sure whether or not you will need the New World Loading Screen unlocked in order to complete this challenge, we’ve highlighted the exact location of the hidden ‘F’ on the map above. Simply head there and you should see a spinning, floating ‘F’ shape waiting for you to search. Walk up to the F and hold the button required to search. Bingo. You’ve completed this challenge.
