Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 Coming Free To Xbox Live Gold Subscribers

Microsoft's "Games with Gold" promotion continues this August with two titles you may just want to fire up your Xbox 360 to download.

Starting August 1st, you'll be able to download Crackdown free of charge, so long as you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber. Assassin's Creed II is currently available for free, but when the Marketplace updates tomorrow, Ezio's adventure will be replaced by the aforementioned open-world collect-a-thon, so get on that if you haven't already.

Then, on August 16th, Crackdown will be replaced by Dead Rising 2 as well as its prologue, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. So mark your calendar, or whatever else you need to do to make sure you don't miss out on these killer deals.
