Granny Rags gives you a quest to take care of several thugs. Do so and a Rune will await on the second floor of her apartment. |

A door at the back of Granny Rags' apartment leads to an Outsider shrine with another Rune. |
Ch. 4: Distillery & Overseer (3) |
After taking care of the thugs, Granny Rags asks Corvo to complete another task. Do so and another Rune awaits in the same spot on the second floor. |
Ch. 4: Distillery & Overseer (4) |
Just past the second Wall of Light, this Rune hides in the guard station. Take care off the guards before approaching. |
Ch. 4: Distillery & Overseer (5) |
In the basement of the Overseer Compound, search a room near the Kennel entrance. A secret switch reveals a secret chamber with a Rune inside. |

The separate backyard area of the Overseer Compound holds a Rune inside a workshop. It's recommended to get this rune before dealing with the Overseer. |

In a scripted scene, the Overseer will walk towards a meeting room. Here, a Rune rests above the fireplace almost like a painting. |
Ch. 5: The Golden Cat (1) |
During your return to the Hounds Pits Pub, this Rune rests in a metal desk in the sewers beneath the pub. |
Ch. 5: The Golden Cat (2) |
Also in the sewers beneath the pub, this Rune is just behind a metal gate, but can be grasped by hand if Corvo is close enough. |
Ch. 5: The Golden Cat (3) |
If Corvo tortures the Art Dealer in the Golden Cat, he receives code that unlocks a safe in the Art Dealer's apartment, whose entrance is near Griff (if Corvo saved him). |
Ch. 5: The Golden Cat (4) |
Across from the Art Dealer's apartment is Doctor Galvan's offices. Search the hidden room, which can be reached by possessing a rat and scurrying through the hole, in his laboratory on the third floor for this Rune. |

The area with the Golden Cat also holds another apartment with an open entrance on the second floor. The Rune here rests on a crate. |

On the top floor of the Golden Cat, one of the prostitute's rooms holds a Rune. |

This Rune is in plain sight in the Golden Cat on the second floor, framed wthin a picture. |

After Corvo finishes the warehouse section, a Rune rests in the building across from the train tracks. |

Lord Pratchett's home, located near the beginning of the map, holds a safe with this Rune. |

Go to the top of Lord Pratchett's home and Blink across to another building with an open balcony. A Rune rests here in a shrine. |

Found in Midrow Substation, this Rune can be found close to the beginning of the area. It's simply waiting on a desk. |

Sokolov's greenhouse room at the top of his complex holds this Rune. |
Ch. 7: The Boyle Estate (1) |
Across the Boyle mansion is a large apartment building patrolled by tallboys. On the top floors are Weepers protecting this Rune. |

This Rune lies in the far end of the riverbank. Corvo might get bitten by some hagfish but it's well worth it. |
Ch. 7: The Boyle Estate (3) |
Found in the basement vault at the Boyle mansion. You can find the key on the top floor of the mansion, or you can possess a rat and enter it through the kitchen. |

If Corvo deals with all the Boyle ladies non-lethally, a Rune awaits next to Corvo's bedstand in the pub. |

Accept a side task from Callista at the pub. Track down Emily for another Rune. |
Ch. 8: Return To Dunwall Tower (1) |
On the right-hand side of the tower's entrance is a guard barracks containing this Rune beneath one of the beds. |

The Lord Regent's bedroom on the second floor has a chest with a Rune. |

In the tower, the infamous Torturer can be found by going down the stairs in the corner of the first floor. Next to him on a shrine is another Rune. |
Ch. 8: Return To Dunwall Tower (4) |
At the top of tower is the Lord Regent's safe house, with an open window that goes to the library if you search the grounds. The Rune is inside, placed at the back. |
Ch. 9: Flooded District (1) |
Search the waters along the edge of the Greaves Refinery. This Rune is one of the easier ones to find in this section. |
Ch. 9: Flooded District (2) |
After dealing with Daud, there's a chain that leads Corvo down to the next area. Near the bottom is yet another Rune for your efforts. |
Ch. 9: Flooded District (3) |
In the Gateward Tunnel are two dilapidated buildings. Jumping and Blinking between them leads to a Rune on the roof. |
Ch. 9: Flooded District (4) |
Near the end of the tunnel is a group of Weepers (high Chaos) or survivors (low Chaos). A Rune can be found in the walkways in this area. |
Ch. 9: Flooded District (5) |
Meeting Granny Rags earlier spawns this Rune in the Old Port District Outskirts. An Outsider Shrine here holds another Rune in a nook near the furnace. |
Ch. 10: Assault on the Pub (1) |
This Rune can be found in Piero's Workshop. The entrance is through the window on the second floor. |
Ch. 11: The Island (1) |
A sewer entrance can be found near the corner of the central yard. A large sewer door can be opened by cranking a valve. A last Rune lies past this sewer door. |
