Unlockables

Alternate Outfit

After completing the quest "Stolen Goods", return to the thief's apartment. There should be a pile of discarded clothing where the thief's corpse was hanging. Press A on the clothing pile to switch between Murphy's standard outfit and a black hoodie with jeans.

Alternate Costumes

Thief Outfit - Complete the "Stolen Goods" side quest in Pearls Creek apartment. Return back to where the thief was hanging. Check the floor for his outfit.

Secret Endings

The game has two secret endings that can be obtained by completing the game under certain conditions.

Secret Ending 1 - Complete the game once and during your second playthrough complete the "Digging Up the Past" side-quest before completing the game

Secret Ending 2 - Die during the final encounter

Glitches

Infinite Mysteries Glitch

After beating the Centennial Building quest make your way back to the entrance. The same mysteries that you've collected before should be hanging on the door again. Go up to it and Murphy will collect/open his journal. Your mysteries should go up by 1. Run back up past both the stairs cast and then back down to the door again to receive another mysteries. Repeat until you obtain the "Silent Hill Historic Society" Trophy/Achievement (53 Mysteries).

  • Capital Punishment (100 points): Completed the game on the hard game difficulty setting, any ending.
  • Good Behavior (50 points): Completed the game on any difficulty without killing any monsters.
  • Silent Hill Tour Guide (100 points): Completed all side quests.
  • Useless Trinkets (5 points): Completed the “Digging up the Past” side quest.
  • Birdman (5 points): Completed the “Bird Cage” side quest.
  • Calling All Cars (5 points): Completed the “All Points Bulletin” side quest.
  • Neighborhood Watch (5 points): Completed the “Stolen Goods” side quest.
  • Art Appreciation (5 points): Completed “The Art Collector” side quest.
