Suda 51's next hair-brained game, titled Killer is Dead, harkens back to the fantastic and enigmatic Killer7, and while Deep Silver plans on releasing the game in Japan on August 1st, Europe and America will have to keep waiting for a hard date.
According to Hokanko-Alt, via Gematsu, Japanese Dengeki PlayStation magazine reveals the far east release date for Killer is Dead in its latest issue. The most recent trailer (which you can see above) pins the game's arrival in Europe for August as well, but that date could change as localization efforts begin.
Still wondering what the hell Killer is Dead is all about? As did Killer7, the title explores the life of a shiny elite assassin, but this time he comes equipped with a shiny robot arm which helps him kill shiny enemies. It's all quite shiny. With Grasshopper Manufacturer teaming up on the project with Kadokawa Games again (previously the two worked on Lollipop Chainsaw), Killer is Dead will likely continue the cult-classic status many of Suda's recent games have earned.
