It’s Destiny 2weekly reset time yet again and, with season 6 drawing to a close, you might be forgiven for brushing off today’s weekly reset as something of a non-event. As you’ll soon discover, there’s plenty new in the Destiny 2 weekly reset to get excited about, from new activities, to the return of the Iron Banner. Yes, when the game pops up with “New Adventures Available,” it can be confusing, so we’ll cover each and every tiny thing that’s changed, as well as the exact reset time today, May 14.
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (May 14) | When is the reset time today?
You’re probably counting down the hours already. The Destiny 2 weekly reset is at 10 AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern. That’s 6 PM BST in the UK.
You don’t need to log out for the weekly reset to take hold at that time, either. Just log in and play as normal and you’ll eventually see a “New Adventures Available” message at the times above. You’ll then be able to play on the fresh slate of activities the game has in store for you.
What’s changed in the Destiny 2 weekly reset? (May 14)
With no new update on the horizon, and the Season of Opulence starting in early June, you’re pretty much left with your normal slate of resfreshed activities, with one key difference. But, first, the usual line of weekly reset changes, as per Bungie’s official Ritual Reset page:
Call to Arms Crucible Challenge
Destination Flashpoints
Raid Challenge Encounters
Raid Checkpoints
Dreaming City Powerful Rewards
Spider’s Powerful Bounty
Gambit Powerful Bounty
Gambit Weekly Challenge
Nightfall Strike
Weekly Clan Engrams
Weekly Clan XP Caps
Eververse Bright Dust Selections
Elsewhere, the weekly reset time marks the beginning of season 6’s final Iron Banner event. Head on over to The Tower and chat with Lord Saladin to begin. Don’t forget, this is the last opportunity you’ll have to polish off any season-long Iron Banner Triumphs across the next seven days, so be sure to get a move on if you’re lagging behind.
Finally, Xur departs today. He’s not gone for good, praise the Seven. The merchant always departs on Tuesdays and will return with a fresh quartet of items on Friday.
