The list of shonen heroes being turned into Jump Force DLC continues to grow. Bandai Namco has revealed that All Might from My Hero Academia is coming to their Shonen Jump arena fighter.
Bandai Namco announced that All Might was coming to Jump Force via a post on their Facebook page. The former number one hero will be arriving in the game this May, alongside Yu-Gi-Oh‘s Seto Kaiba.
Real name Toshinagi Yagi, All Might is one of the tritagonists of My Hero Academia. He was the eighth holder of the “One For All” quirk before passing it on to series protagonist Izuku Midoriya, who is already in Jump Force as part of the base roster. Viewers get to know him as one of the teachers at the titular hero academy where Izuku studies and, indeed, he’s personally grooming Izuku as his successor.
Bandai Namco has been constantly updating Jump Force with a number of quality-of-life fixes. Additionally, fans have been adding to the game through various new mods. Modders have added characters such as Resident Evil‘s Leon S. Kennedy as well as memetic Scooby-Doo character Shaggy.
Another as-yet-unnamed character will be joining All Might and Kaiba when they arrive in Jump Force in May. These three will add to an already impressively sized cast with over 40 characters. Additionally, the update will also bring with it a new “Online Link Mission,” “Raid Boss Event,” and a new stage called the “World Tournament Stage.”
These updates won’t be the final updates to the game, either. Bandai Namco currently has plans to release content up until August 2019. Whether or not players will get Jump Force DLC beyond that is unknown. However, with an already impressive roster and more fighters to come, Jump Force likely has enough content to keep fans happy for a long time.
