Apex Legends Update 1.04 patch notes | What’s new?
While several bugs and game crashing issues have been fixed thanks to the new Apex Legends update you, unfortunately, won’t find any new content in the game… yet. Alongside the new update, dataminers have found hidden content in the game’s code. This includes a new mode, characters, and items. More on that in another guide, however.
The Apex Legends 1.04 update is a fixer of the game, rather than a bringer of shiny new content. The full Apex Legends update 1.04 patch notes are as follows, thanks to u/Jayfresh_Respawn (Respawn community manager on Reddit):
- PS4 crash fixes:
- Addresses issues with GPU hangs
- Fixed crash when pressing button early in load process
- Fixed issue where players would sometimes move slowly after revive
- Fixed issue with Mirage Ability causing crashes
- Xbox One: Fixed issue where Gibraltar Epic skins caused crashes
Hopefully, after the 1.04 update, Apex Legends should be running better and crashing less than it did before for all players. Regardless of platform. Thankfully, too, the patch isn’t the biggest, any update weighing in at under 2 GB is small nowadays, anyway. You shouldn’t have to wait too long before playing Apex Legends again after beginning the download.
