As the Private Beta is available on three platforms, we thought it’d be best to tell you how to accept agent backup requests on each one separately. Beginning with the PC. Actually accepting agent backup requests on the Division 2 Beta is somewhat complicated.

If you wish to help out a fellow agent in need, to answer their call for backup you will first need to open the map. Once on the map screen, scroll to the Matchmaking tab and highlight on the map which agent you wish to help. You should then fast travel over to them and automatically be added into their group. To do all this, simply hold the M key, highlight the area and agent you wish to help and choose to assist with a press of the W key.

To join an agent backup request on PS4 is similar. Open up the map screen, scroll to Matchmaking with R1. From there, choose “Answer the Call” to join whatever agent in distress you wish to help. Simple enough. It might, however, simply take you to the newest request you’ve received.

On Xbox One, the system is a little different, however. To answer an agent backup request call on Xbox One, you will need to hold the menu button. Then, when this opens the map, hold the up button. This should take you to Matchmaking, and from there, simply choose the agent you wish to help. While this should work, try the method outlined in the PS4 version above. Again, it might just take you to the latest agent backup request sent.
