How to Fix the Battlefield 5 PC Overture Update Crash
To fix the Battlefield 5 PC Overture update crash issue, EA DICE have provided a way to resolve it on the Battlefield 5 known issues list on the official Reddit page.
If you find that Battlefield 5 is constantly crashing post-update, the best way to resolve the error is to update your graphics driver. EA DICE have stated that, if you have an AMD graphics card, you can update your Radeon graphics driver to make the title more stable and ensure that crashes are less likely to occur.
The issue seems to occur if your Radeon driver version is 18.1.1, and it affects both single-player and multiplayer modes. EA DICE are continuing to work with AMD to completely fix the problem. In the meantime, however, they claim that updating your Radeon graphics driver to 18.1.2 will improve the game’s stability.
