A New Diablo 3 Switch Contest Has You Taking Pictures of Your Switch in Wild Places

Are you looking to get the  Diablo 3 Eternal Collection bundle? Good news if that answer is a yes, as Blizzard Entertainment has released details on an ongoing Diablo 3 Switch contest where the top winner will receive a bundle with the game and a special edition of the system.

The Diablo 3 contest’s goal is simple: it wants to see people playing playing the game in all sorts of crazy, unexpected places.

“From slaying demons in the laundry room or atop the Eiffel Tower,” the contest site says, “We want to see all the places in the mortal realm you are traversing while defending Sanctuary.”

In order to enter, you must upload a photo of yourself playing Diablo 3 on the Switch or on the Diablo 3 Nintendo Switch case via the contest sit. You’d then follow that with your information in the case that you win.

The prizes for this contest include the Nintendo Switch Diablo 3 Eternal Collection bundle and Dark Wanderer backpack for the first place winner, and the Diablo 3 Eternal Collection bundle for the second prize winner. Additionally, the top ten winners with the most votes from the community will receive a one year pass for Nintendo’s online service.

Originally released back in 2012, Diablo 3 amassed heavy praise upon release. Game Revolution’s Jonathan Leack wrote at the time of release that Diablo 3 “is a game that relies on very little but is able to offer a tremendous amount of enjoyable gameplay. All it takes is a steady fire of clicks to quickly appreciate how satisfying the skills are to use and in-turn earn mountains of loot that pour from the corpses of enemies.”

The Nintendo Switch version was released last month, on November 2. It includes the Reaper of Souls and Necromancer expansion packs, as well as amiibo support and exclusive content from The Legend of Zelda series.
