New Just Cause 4 Update Patch Notes Detailed

Just Cause 4 is out now on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Since its launch, players have been complaining about several issues with the game, including graphics, motion blur, and more, Avalanche Studios and Square Enix, however, have confirmed that a Just Cause 4 patch is in the works. New Just Cause 4 update patch notes have been detailed.

Since its release on December 4, 2018, many have been taking online to complain about aspects of the game. The game’s graphics, overuse of motion blur, and more have been causing upset to many players. Now, however, according to an official message from Square Enix, “a team of engineers at Avalanche Studios is working hard on updating and improving the game.” Both Square Enix and Avalanche Studios are “actively monitoring… feedback very closely.”

As such, there is a slew of upgrades set to hit Just Cause 4 “in the next couple of weeks.” What’s more, both Square Enix and Avalanche Studios have promised more than the list of update patch notes below.

New Just Cause 4 Update Patch Notes (Preliminary)

  • Xbox One and PS4
    • Fixes coming for motion blur issues.
    • Per requests, a motion blur toggle option is on the way.
    • “Improvements to the overall visual quality on both Xbox One and PS4,” including “smoother vegetation transitions.”
    • Some texture mapping bugs will be fixed.
    • Lighting fixes for a number of cutscenes.
    • “Various stability fixes.”
  • PC
    • Some texture mapping issues will be fixed.
    • “Improved vegetation rendering and asset updates.”
    • Improvements will be made to menu navigation issues for mouse and keyboard users.
    • Further improvements in mouse and keyboard controls such as: “Increased mouse sensitivity range,” “corrected specialized vehicle support,” and fixes to the steering of flying vehicles.
    • “Numerous stability fixes.”

While no set release date for the patches has been given, they will come within the next couple of weeks on consoles and PC. Both Square Enix and Avalanche Studios are “aware of many other issues being reported and are prioritizing tasks… [for] future updates.”
