The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 ADS sensitivity settings on console shouldn’t be a mystery. But sadly, they are. Some players just want to aim down the sights at a little bit of a faster or slower pace. Here is what you need to know about the Black Ops 4 ADS sensitivity settings on PS4 and Xbox One.
Black Ops 4 ADS Sensitivity Settings – Where Are They?
Simply put, they are not in the game yet and Treyarch has not said if it is adding it in a future update. You currently cannot independently change the settings on your ADS and normal hip firing. There are currently only two sliders for your overall horizontal and vertical sensitivity. They are set to “Medium” by default, which is a “four” on a scale that goes up to “14,” which is the most sensitive.
You can look at it in the Controls part of the Settings menu. Just press the Options button on the main menu and then press the top shoulder button and it should take you there.
Black Ops 4 ADS Sensitivity Settings – What Can I Do?
Since you can’t change your Black Ops 4 ADS sensitivity settings yet, there are only a few things you can do in the meantime. You can try to just turn off target assist, which also in the same control menu. This helps you nail down a target when you aim at enemies and is present in multiplayer. Turning this off will make your aim a little more squirrelly, which might be what you want if you want faster aiming.
You can also try to turn off aim assist, which is also in the same control menu. This turns off autoaim when you are aiming down the sight. However, as the options say, it does not affect multiplayer and likely only works in the co-op zombies mode.
Neither of these will completely solve your issue and you’ll likely just have to wait for Treyarch to patch that feature in.
