Spider-Man PS4 Stan Lee Cameo: How to Find Stan Lee

The Man Behind Marvel is pretty much everywhere these days, but few probably expected a Spider-Man PS4 Stan Lee cameo from the king of showing up for five seconds and looking faintly out-of-sorts. Like most of his MCU efforts, this one’s not exactly hard to find, but it’s a cool moment nonetheless. Here’s how to find Stan Lee in Spider-Man PS4.

Spider-Man PS4 Stan Lee Cameo: How to Find Stan Lee

Thankfully, the Stan Lee cameo pops up really early on so you won’t need to be on the hunt for the comic book legend. Roughly 90 minutes into the story, you’ll come across a mission titled “Don’t Touch the Art”. If you’ve played it, you’ll know the one. It involves the first of a few head-scratching puzzles, and Mary Jane knocking around in an old museum.

It’s once you’ve completed the mission, however, that you’ll finally clap eyes on Stan Lee. Mary Jane and Peter Parker (spoilers here, I guess) are reconciling at a restaurant called Mick’s, having split up prior to the events of the game. Of course, their conversation is interrupted by the blaring sound of sirens as Pete whisks himself away to battle crime and take down baddies.

It’s at that moment, as MJ, too, goes to leave the restaurant, that Stan Lee pops up. He gives Peter’s love interest a compliment, telling her “I love seeing you two again. You always were my favorites.” Interestingly, he’s listed in the game as the “Short Order Cook” so Stan Lee can add that to the long, long list of roles he’s played over the years, from janitor right through to Hugh Hefner lookalike.

Not only that, it serves as a neat bookend to the Spider-Man franchise on PlayStation, with Stan Lee also having narrated Neversoft’s PS1 game way back in 2000. It’s a touching tribute from Insomniac, too. ‘Nuff said.
