Another month means another batch of Xbox Games With Gold. While there isn’t any game quite as big as For Honor available to download in September, the lineup is certainly solid. Indeed, the Games With Gold September 2018 list begins with Prison Architect on September 1. Sadly, you’ll only be able to download For Honor, Forza Horizon 2 and Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two until 31 August.
For the unaware, each month Xbox Live Gold owners are treated to a number of games, new and old, to download at no extra cost. Unlike the monthly PlayStation Plus games, however, each game Xbox Live Gold game becomes available on different dates. Indeed, sometimes, games will be available to download across months. One such game in September is Livelock – a co-op top-down shooter. This will be available to download starting September 16 through to October 15. The Xbox Games With Gold September 2018 announcement video can be seen below:
That’s a solid list of games. We’ll be designing and building a prison in Prison Architect, shooting tonnes of aliens and the like in Livelock, fighting in the blocky version of the Clone Wars in Lego Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars, and heading back into the past with Sega classic Monster World. The full list of the games available in September and when can be read below:
- Prison Architect – September 1-30
- Livelock – September 16-October 15
- Lego Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars – September 1-15
- Sega Vintage Collection Monster World – September 16-30
All told, these four games would normally set you back over $69.96, so that’s a hefty saving for you. Not only does it save you money, but there’s also a hefty 3,200 Gamerscore up for grabs in all these games. Remember though, now’s your last chance to pick up For Honor, Forza Horizon 2 and Epic Mickey 2 at no extra cost. The list of games above goes live starting with Prison Architect on September 1.
