V-Rally 4

V-Rally 4 Release Date Drifts Into View

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Bigben and Kylotonn Racing Games have finally given us the release date for V-Rally 4. Before today, we knew that the upcoming sequel to the classic ’90s rally game was due to launch this September. Now, we have an official V-Rally 4 release date. Pay attention though, as it has different release dates across consoles.

Firstly, V-Rally 4 will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 7 (in the UK at least). It will then race onto PC on September 25. We can’t wait to jump back into the driver’s seat of the classic series and thankfully, we don’t have long to wait.

Switch owners, however, you might want to fasten your seatbelt extra tight. Despite giving a release date for PS4, Xb0x One, and PC, Bigben failed to deliver a date for the Switch version. There is no word on a V-Rally 4 Switch release date, but we’re hopeful it can still cross the finish line before the end of the year.

Release date on Switch or no, we can’t wait to try V-Rally 4 out for ourselves. For the unaware, the series was a hit back in the ’90s. I, for one, loved my copy of V-Rally Edition 99 on the N64. The rally series was more than a competent rival for the likes of Codemasters’ Colin McRae Rally and Sega Rally back in the day.

V-Rally 4 will hopefully bring back the glory days of rally games. With classic race modes such as your standard Rally, Buggy, Hillclimb, Extreme-Khana, and V-Rally Cross, V-Rally 4 is full of content. It looks like a hell of a lot of fun, too, based on its latest trailer:

While the teams behind the game might not get your pulse racing, the game looks set to do just that. It may not easy, but it sure does look fun. V-Rally 4 is set to release on September 7 on PS4 and Xbox One ,and September 25 on PC.
